Photographers know the importance of lighting. Good photographers know how to control the camera exposure to light in order to achieve top picture quality. They also know that what you allow within the frame of your picture & how you arrange them affects quality. And one crucial issue to getting that good composition is positioning. Your view will often determine the view!
What you see & how you see, is affected by where you’re viewing from. Perspective is often about viewing angles. Sideways, fontal, backside; “all na how you de see” & none is the whole picture. Positioning limits your view! You can’t fully capture all sides at once. No, not in photography & more so, not in life. This is where ‘over sabi’ should bow to humility!
Isn’t it wonderful then, to connect to someone whose perspective is perfect? Not near perfect, 100% perfect. That’s the God view. The view from above. He’s the one who sees it as it really is, truly was, and will be – at the same time. That’s the omniscient positioning!
1: DEAR JOSEPH, PLEASE DON’T GET MAD AT GOD: what you are seeing as suffering may just be him positioning you for greatness! It was the pit the other day, portiphars house yesterday & the prison today…. but the palace will still happen. Trust!
2: “I know what I want”, is the stubbornness of someone merely seeing from a human perspective! YOU WILL CHANGE & YOUR DESIRES WILL CHANGE TOO. Let God help you make choices based on your future that he knows already! Seek his guidance in marriage & career decisions etc.
3: Sometimes, what feels good is not what is right. Our sense of right & wrong is often subjective, but God’s view of right & wrong is from a position of INFINITE UNDERSTANDING. Even when sin is not ‘hurting anybody’, it is still doing something to our souls that we cannot fathom!
4: When God said to forgive, e get why! See how ‘I no go gree’ don build up resentment & from resentment, you come enter bitterness! And BITTERNESS NA CORROSIVE WAHALA wey de chop body mercilessly. Now, you have ulcer, not because of what you ate, but because of what is eating you up! Abeg, forgive!
5: You cannot say God has been unfair to any of his servants until you check out such lineage to four generations. What you see is the man who missed out, but GOD HAS A WAY OF MAKING THINGS RIGHT for those who love him. It’s not over yet; if one generation missed Canaan, another will still enter in!
6: Any reality you filter with the word of God will come out clearer! Try de see things from GODS POINT OF VIEW! Pray & check through scriptures before you make decisions & conclusions! The part you’re fixated on now, may not be the whole elephant. Only God is omniscient!
